Good eggs

Whenever I buy eggs, I get extra for the foxes.
I leave them out along the little footpath they've made in the grass that runs along the hedgerow.
A small payment for the sweet sound of them playing in the dark while I work through the night.

A handmade, cut, carved and layered wood fox sculpture in a vintage cigar box, painted in acrylics. Hanging made from solid brass chain and hardware.
