The wood used as a canvas for this painting is called Pale Moon Ebony, which comes from the fruit-bearing Indian persimmon tree. The Giant Honey Bee is it's primary pollinator.
The frame is handmade, by me, and is constructed from bookmatched Maple and 4000 yr old Irish Bog Oak.
Frame and painting both signed and dated on reverse.
